First Craft Beer Festival Joins Annual Taste of Champaign

First Craft Beer Festival Joins Annual Taste of ChampaignAs a small business owner, one of the challenges that you face is bringing new and exciting events to your customers to ensure the continued success of your business. New events come with many risks that you want to make sure are covered with your IL Restaurant Insurance. This poses some challenges when combining locations for one event, like the upcoming First Annual Champaign Craft Beer Festival.

A few weeks ago, local bar owners came together to discuss the possibility of hosting Champaign’s First Annual Craft Beer Festival. After only about 48 hours of talk, everyone hopped on board and planning commenced. The event is focused on bringing people together and getting them excited about craft beer like similar events that have been held around the state have done.

The festival will be held on August 22 in the beer gardens of Blind Pig, Quality, and Cowboy Monkey with music outside Cowboy Monkey. There is also talk of food trucks being featured in the event though non have been confirmed yet. The hope is that joining the craft beer with food trucks will stick to the festivals goal of being a local community feature event.

Despite the three venues and food trucks planned to accompany the festivities, Champaign liquor laws will be enforced to ensure the safety of everyone involved, so you should make sure you aren’t carrying drinks around outside of the beer gardens.

With so many rules and regulations involved in successfully owning and running a small business, it is easy to get overwhelmed when trying to plan an event like the Craft Beer Festival.
